The Razer Blade now features the new Windows 8. This is not the first time that Razer has updated its 17.3-inch gaming notebook; its last refresh saw its then Sandy Bridge Core i7-2640M (2.8GHz) processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics getting upgraded to an Intel Ivy Bridge i7 processor and an NVIDIA GTX GeForce 660M GPU.

System memory still maintains at a dedicated 8GB, along with the Switchblade UI, so gamers can fully customize their profiles and wallpaper, browse the web for in game information, watch YouTube videos for walkthrough guides, stay connected with their social networks, and launch dedicated applications to interact with popular games, all in real time.

If you're still inclined towards the Windows 7 platform, you can still opt for it when making your Razer Blade purchase.
