Raspberry Pi Anniversary Competition Announced
RS Components have announced their Raspberry Pi Anniversary Competition to celebrate its first anniversary by giving 1,000 pieces of commemorative blue Model B boards. These boards are not for sale but from March to June of this year but Raspberry Pi enthusiasts can enter into competitions in an attempt to win one of the anniversary edition boards.
These commemorative blue Model B boards will be shared among charities, education, and Raspberry Pi enthusiasts in order to mark the first anniversary of the launch of Raspberry Pi. Each board is stamped with a serial number and is supplied in a special gift box, together with a crystal blue user case and a certificate of authenticity that is signed by Eben Upton, Executive Director of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The limited edition crystal blue case has been designed and donated by product design and manufacturing specialists One-Nine-Design.
