Raidon's new InTank iR2770 internal RAID module lets you put two drives in RAID 0 or 1 easily

The Raidon InTank iR2770 internal RAID module is a boon for hardcore users and storage enthusiasts. Essentially, it is a module that lets users easily configure two 2.5-inch drives in either RAID 0 or RAID 1.

More impressively, the entire module fits into any 3.5-inch hard disk drive bay, so no special installation or tools is required.

And since it supports RAID 0 and RAID 1, the module can be configured for maximum performance (RAID 0 ) or security and redundancy (RAID 1). The module also uses a standard SATA 6Gbps interface.

That said, since it uses a standard SATA 6Gbps interface, the InTank iR2770 is arguably more apt for use with traditional hard disk drives, especially if you are aiming for maximum performance with a RAID 0 configuration. The reason being that a single SATA interface would not be able to provide sufficient bandwidth for two SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration.

Even so, this module can provide fuss-free backups if you were to configure it in RAID 0.
