Potential security breach forces M1 to suspend Apple iPhone 6 pre-orders (Update)
Updated on September 16 at 9.29AM: M1 has rectified the potential security breach and is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 6 models.
Updated at 10.05PM: M1 responded to our query for more information on this matter. Below is the official statement from M1:
“M1 places the utmost priority in protecting our customer data and privacy and has implemented strict processes and procedures to safeguard customer information, including conducting regular security audits.
As a precaution to protect our customers’ personal information, we temporarily suspended pre-orders at about 7pm after a potential security breach was highlighted to us. We are currently rectifying the issue, and will be conducting a full review on this incident.”

Aside from experiencing heavy traffic on its website for the new Apple iPhone 6 models, M1 now has to deal with a potential security breach.
The telco made the announcement on its Facebook Page at about 7.30PM that it is suspending pre-orders for the iPhones temporarily to protect customers' personal information while it is "urgently investigating this issue".
