There's a new magnetic tip system, which allows the included tip to be easily removed, while also keeping the tip securely in place. This system also allows Ten One Design to debut new interchangeable tips in the near future. Incorporating the Crescendo Sensor which enables the tip to be highly responsive to pressure and recognizing even the slightest touch, it works at all angles and requires no calibration with no activation force.

By capturing the nuances of any drawing, novice and professional artists alike can easily create detailed, multifaceted digital paintings in a matter of minutes. By applying more or less pressure, users can control line width and opacity of a drawn line. Plus, its palm rejection feature keeps drawings clear of unnecessary and unwanted marks, smudges, blots and more from hands resting on the screen during drawing sessions.

Pogo Connect also comes with a built-in radio transmitter so users can easily find a lost pen by determining their location in relation to stylus. The stylus transmits a signal that easily allows users to track down its location, making this the first pen that’s nearly impossible to lose. Simply use an iPhone/iPad to display the estimated distance to the pen, which is displayed intuitively in a radar-style view.

The smart pen is powered by a single AAA battery, and is available for pre-order now for US$79.95. The first 2,000 buyers will receive a special edition version with a laser-engraved tiger graphic reminiscent of the product’s previous name, Blue Tiger.
