With other phone brands cashing in on the phablet craze, it seems that Nokia also wants to join the party with its upcoming 6-inch Lumia 1520.
According to Windows Phone Central, the Lumia 1520 will sport a 6-inch Full-HD display, a polycarbonate chassis, a 20-megapixel PureView rear camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor.
Quoting information from its sources, Reuters also reported a week ago that Nokia is planning to unveil new, large screen devices at its upcoming event in New York. Besides the Lumia 1520, Nokia is also expected to launch a 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet.
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note III is likely to face tough competition this year as there are more players entering the market. LG released the 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro earlier this year and Sony recently unveiled its Xperia Z Ultra, which currently has the biggest display at 6.44-inch. HTC is said to be releasing a 5.9-inch variant of its HTC One phone soon.
