Oprah Tweets Her Love For Microsoft Surface From Her iPad
Oprah Winfrey hasn’t been shy about her love for Microsoft's Surface tablet. In early November, it made the list as one of her favorite things (although this list does also include Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats), and yesterday evening, she tweeted that she had "bought 12 already for Christmas gifts". Unfortunately, she sent that tweet using her iPad.
In Oprah's defense, Twitter has yet to release an official Twitter client on the Windows Store and, while third party apps are available such asTweetro, MetroTwit and Rowi they're all encountering issues, most notably Tweetro which quickly hit the 100,000 user-login token limit and was subsequently rejected by Twitter after requesting more logins.
According to a tweet from Twitter Mobile on 30th October, a Windows 8 Twitter app is in the works, but it looks like it won't be available for a few months at least:
