Based on the 28nm process technology, the GK104 GPU of the GeForce GTX 680 graphics card has a base clock speed of 1006MHz, which can be further boosted to 1058MHz or more (we've seen up to 1100MHz) with the architecture's new GPU Boost feature.
It features a range of new technologies including a new streaming multiprocessor block named "SMX", responsible for delivering twice the performance per watt of previous-generation products, and new FXAA and TXAA anti-aliasing techniques and Adaptive VSync technologies so visual quality is increased without compromising gaming performance.
Add-in card partners such as ASUS, EVGA, Zotac, Palit, and Gainward have jumped on the bandwagon by releasing their respective GeForce GTX 680 cards. Here's a quick look.
