With GRID Test Drive, the company hopes to target anyone who is considering VDI, or is unsatisfied with his current system, to take the GRID cloud computing platform for a test drive, literally. The user is allowed a 2-hr trial access to the NVIDIA GRID platform, and this free-pass can be used over a series of session until the time is up.

He can look forward to using applications like Autodesk AutoCAD, Google Earth and Siemens Teamcenter on any device with Internet connectivity. This is done by leveraging on the company's vGPU technology that supports up to 8 users per physical GPU. NVIDIA also announce GRID Test Drive's roll-out to South East Asia and Australia. It is also available in countries that include China, Taiwan, North America, and the UK. For more information, please head over to NVIDIA's site.
