NEC updates its M series projector lineup with 6 new DLP models

NEC has updated its M series data projectors with six new models. Sporting brightness of 3,200 to 4,000 ANSI lumens, they're the M322X, M322W, M362X, M362W, M402X, and M402W.

With a sealed single-chip DLP light engine, these filter-free projectors tout low maintenance, and hence, low total cost of ownership. There's also an Eco mode (a staple in many of NEC's business projectors for many years now), which uses as little as 30% of power to enable lamp life of up to 8,000 hours. Combined with an ambient light sensor, brightness can be adjusted automatically based on lighting conditions, thus further reducing power consumption.

All six projectors come with a 1.7x zoom lens (manual zoom and focus) and both horizontal and vertical keystone corrections for greater placement and installation flexibility, as well as advanced connectivity options, including an RJ-45 jack and support for a USB wireless LAN dongle. Among the wide selection of video inputs are two HDMI ports that support HDCP for connecting to modern digital sources. Using the bundled presentation conversion software, you can also place files onto a USB drive and plug it into the projector’s USB port to display them directly without a PC.

The NEC M322X, M322W, M362X, M362W, M402X, and M402W come with a two-year limited parts and labor warranty, and are available now at the following prices:
