The MX Master is Logitech's newest flagship wireless mouse

Make way Performance Mouse MX, there’s a new flagship Logitech wireless mouse in town, and it’s the MX Master.

Optimized for Windows and Mac, the US$99.99 MX Master mouse (no word yet on when it’d come to Singapore) can be connected to the computer wirelessly either via Bluetooth Smart technology or Logitech’s 2.4GHz USB “Unifying” dongle. Expectedly, it uses the company’s Darkfield laser tracking tech, so it’ll work even on glass surfaces; and there’s a switch at the base for you to easily toggle between the three devices that you’ve paired with it. There’s also a wheel at the side that lets you do side-to-side scrolling with your thumb, as well as a speed-adaptive top scroll wheel that supports hyper-fast scrolling, the latter a feature already seen on some of Logitech’s high-end mice.

Logitech is also quick to point out the MX Master’s quick charging capability. The company says a 4-minute charge will get you a full day’s worth of use, while a full charge will keep the mouse alive for up to 40 days (assuming you use it for six hours daily). And you can continue to use the mouse while it charges over micro-USB.

While Logitech touts the MX Master’s “perfectly sculpted, hand crafted shape”, from the pictures, it’s clear too that this isn’t a mouse designed for left-handers.
