Swedish watch and winner of the Red Dot Design Award for Product Design, Mutewatch has just been released in Singapore. The Mutewatch is a modern take on the trusty, old wristwatch. Gone is the analog watch face and even the always-on digital display has been discarded. It has been replaced with a rubberized flat LED panel which is touch and motion sensitive. Poking the watch with your finger or turning your wrist 90 degrees will bring up the time.

But what makes the Mutewatch a modern product is its ability to alarms. Five different alarms can be set using the touch display and are completely silent. The Mutewatch makes use of vibration to let you know when the designated time has arrived. This makes it unobtrusive while still remaining effective. Timer functionality is also part of the feature set.

The Mutewatch is available in Charcoal Grey and Poppy red for a cost of S$399.
