MSI has announced ProBox23, a barebone PC system that features the MSI H81TI mini-ITX motherboard. With its ability to support 4th generation Intel Core processors, as well as Haswell chips in the LGA 1150 package, the Pro23 is ideal for commercial applications.
The ProBox23 comes bundled with a custom-designed CPU cooler, and is compatible with processors rated up to 65W TDP. The other useful bundle is its VESA mount that enables the Pro23 to be attached to the rear of a display.
Users would be pleased to know that the MSI H81TI mini-ITX motherboard features Military Class IV components for reliability. The board has an mSATA 6Gbps connector so that a SSD can be installed. If mSATA storage isn’t within reach, the ProBox23 has a 2.5” drive cage that supports up to a pair of 7.5- or 9mm HDDs or SSDs. The MSI H81TI doesn’t have a PCIe slot for the installation of a discrete graphics card; therefore, the ProBox23 depends purely on the integrated graphics core of the installed LGA1150 CPU for its graphical display.
