MSI Announces Gaming AIOs and Nightblade Gaming Barebone at CeBIT 2014

MSI is ready to present its lineup of new gaming hardware, including (but not limited to) notebooks, AIO PCs, motherboards, and graphics cards at the CeBIT 2014. We first take a look at some of the latest gaming AIOs and the MSI Nightblade gaming barebone.

Gaming All-in-One PCs

The successors of the AG2712A, the MSI AG270 and AG240 include the NVIDIA GeForce GTX880M, GTX870M (AG270), and GTX860M GDDR5 (AG240) graphics cards. Both models fuse the Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light technologies so gamers will enjoy the most comfortable viewing experience. In addition, the AG270 comes with speakers and amplifier audio equipment by Yamaha.

Meet the MSI Nightblade

The MSI Nightblade is a mini-ITX barebone gaming system from its prestigious Gaming series. With its galvanized steel body, and bundled components that include the MSI Z87I Gaming AC motherboard, and a SilverStone 80 Gold Plus 600W ATX PSU.

The discerning system builder is able to choose his 4th generation Intel Core processor, memory modules and full-sized graphics card to complete the gaming system. There is an internal board that allows for, say, the mounting of a pair of mSATA SSDs; so that they can be configured to be a RAID 0 drive for faster loading of applications. In addition, the Nightblade has a front panel OC button, allows the user to overclock the system, using the OC Genie feature.

Despite being a mini-ITX chassis, it does boasts of good ventilation features. Its front and bottom vents have dust filters; its carrying handle props the Nightblade at a slight angle for better ventilation. There’s a single rear exhaust fan that is red, and adding on to visual embellishments, the Nightblade has front-mounted LED that provides recessed lighting in red, when the system’s OC Genie function is activated.

According to Corbell, MSI’s local distributor, the Nightblade will be sold with a bundled slot-in optical disc drive (ODD), so that owners don’t have to hunt for one themselves. The pricing of the Nightblade isn’t finalized yet. Hence, do check this space for more updates.
