Mozilla Introduces Firefox v.29, the Most Customizable Version Yet.

“We reimagined and redesigned Firefox to reflect how you use the Web today and we are excited to introduce many features including an elegant and fun design, new menu, customization mode and an enhanced Firefox Sync service powered by Firefox Accounts.” says the Mozilla blog in their announcement for the latest version of their Firefox browser -Firefox 29.

The new layout has Firefox’s menu in the right hand corner, and includes the common options like create new window, save the page, view your history, and view in full screen mode. Bookmarks can be created from a single click, and the manager icon is right next to the Bookmark icon, allowing for easier access. Commonly used functions can be placed on the toolbar, an Firefox add-ons can be dragged and dropped to your menu for easy access.

Tabbed browsing gets a slight design makeover too, as the tabbed pages now recede into the back if they’re not currently being viewed, and the “Customize” tool now allows you to add or move any feature, service or add-on. Finally, enhanced Firefox Sync allows you setup and add multiple devices with end-to-end encryption, thus giving you access to Awesome Bar history, saved passwords, bookmarks, open tabs and form data across your computers and mobile Android devices.
