Microsoft to unveil Surface Book 2 next month with USB-C port and 4K display?

The first generation Surface Book is barely a year old and Microsoft looks set to replace it soon.

According to the Vine Report, Microsoft is planning to launch the Surface Book 2 next month to compete with Apple's likely refresh of the MacBook Pro. However, the availability of Intel's 7^th generation i5 and i7 processors at the end of this year could force Microsoft to push back the announcement.

Other rumored specs include a 4K display, a USB Type-C port and an improved hinge that will not leave a gap when the notebook is folded. You can expect the prices of the first generation Surface Book to drop, which will make it more affordable for consumers.
