The current DirectX 11.2 is exclusive to Windows 8.1 and Xbox One. According to cursory information obtained from the Game Developers Conference (GDC) website, it states that DirectX 12 will be featured on "your PC, tablet, phone and console."

AMD’s Mantle API is slowly gaining traction, and early this week, the company announced the availability of its Catalyst 14.2 Beta for Windows, which are used as launch drivers for Thief. For more information on the DirectX GDC sessions, please head over here. The GDC will take place in San Francisco, United States from 17 to 21 March 2014.
