Did you choose not to get the Surface RT that’s recently launched in Singapore with the hope that the Surface Pro would be made available soon after? Well, your wish has just came true, as Microsoft has announced the next wave of Surface Pro (and Surface RT) availability.
For Singapore, the Intel Core i5 and Windows 8-running Surface Pro will launch before the end of June, along with Korea, Malaysia, Russia, and Thailand. Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom will get it a month earlier, before the end of May.
More countries are getting the Surface RT too. Besides Malaysia, which will be launching it tomorrow on the 25th, Mexico (by end of May), Korea, and Thailand (both in June) are also getting the ARM-based (NVIDIA Tegra 3, to be exact) Windows RT tablet.
Regarding the actual launch date and pricing details, we’re currently checking with Microsoft Singapore. We will keep you updated once we've heard from them.
