Microsoft’s OneNote, PowerPoint and OneDrive iOS apps updated for Apple Watch

OneNote is the latest Microsoft app to be updated with Apple Watch support.

Are you a Microsoft fan using an iPhone, and getting an Apple Watch? The Redmond-based company, which apps and services are getting increasingly platform agnostic thanks to its cloud-first and mobile-first strategy, has already pushed out a few apps for Apple’s wearable device, which is due to ship to pre-order customers in nine countries end of this week.

The first Microsoft app to gain Apple Watch support is OneDrive, which is updated over the past weekend. The updated app lets you view your albums, see your most recent photos and delete photos right from your wrist, and find photos by tags.

The second app is PowerPoint, which is updated yesterday to include a remote that allows you to start slide shows, and navigate to the next and previous slides from the watch. You can also check the elapsed time, the current slide number, and total number of slides on the wearable. (Word and Excel are also updated yesterday, but mainly for performance improvements and bug fixes.)

The third app is the just updated OneNote. With this update, you can now pull up your recent notes or dictate new ones using the Apple Watch.
