Starting today, Microsoft and its qualified retailers will offer the Office 2010 Technology Guarantee which begins on March 5, 2010, and ends on September 30, 2010. Just in time for the IT Show at Suntec from 11th – 14th March, the Office 2010 Technology Guarantee allows eligible consumers who purchase and activate Office 2007 or a new PC with Office 2007 between the eligibility dates, to download Office 2010 when it is available – at no additional charge.
To redeem Tech Guarantee, eligible customers should visit www.office.com/techg when Office 2010 is available in their language/market. Microsoft will verify eligibility online and then customers can download Office 2010 at no additional cost. While Microsoft has historically offered a Tech Guarantee offer for Windows and Office products months before a new version is released, this is the first time we are offering digital fulfillment for the Tech Guarantee.
Microsoft Office 2010 for consumers will be available in June, 2010; while the 2010 set of products, including Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, Visio 2010, and Project 2010 worldwide to business customers on May 12.
The Redemption Period will begin when Office 2010 becomes available in the Singapore market, and will end on October 31, 2010.
