Microsoft is making a launcher for Android, and it's called Arrow Launcher

Update (Oct 30): Beta no more! Microsoft has officially launched Arrow Launcher on the Google Play store.

As reported by Microsoft News (which isn't an official Microsoft website, by the way), Microsoft is currently working on an Android launcher, and has even released it to a small group of Google+ users for beta testing.

Called the Arrow Launcher Beta, it’s still very much unfinished at this point in time. The first (left) page is a People page that shows you your contacts; the home page is the usual apps page but which  shows recent and frequently used apps; and the rightmost page allows you to add notes and reminders.

Of course, at this early stage, we don’t expect Arrow Launcher to be as powerful as Nova or Apex Launcher. While you can set the daily Bing wallpaper as your default wallpaper, you can't apply a custom icon pack or add apps to the frequently used section.
