Two days before M1 officially rolls out its new tiered smartphone plans, the telco decides to do away with the additional $10.70 charge for its 4G value-added service (VAS).
A M1 spokesperson shared that the telco's new monthly smartphone service plans subscription will include the free 4G VAS until further notice. Taking into account these changes, StarHub offers the most affordable price plans except for the premium tier where M1's MaxSurf+ is priced lower at $198. Stay tuned as we will update our article, "Illustrated Overview of Tiered Smartphone Plans (Q3, 2012)."
