M1 Last to Reveal Prices for Samsung Galaxy S III; Offers Take 3 Plan for Device
With one more day to the official launch event of the Samsung Galaxy S III at the three telcos, M1 ends the chase by being the last to announce the prices for Android device at approximately 12am, 29th May. The contract prices of the Samsung Galaxy S III are:
- S$498 for customers who sign up for a two-year contract on ValueSurf and SunSaver Plus at S$39 / S$48.15 month
- S$348 for customers who sign up for a two-year contract on LiteSurf and SunMax at S$55 / $82.93 month
- S$198 for customers who sign up for a two-year contract on ExtremeSurf and SunMax Plus at S$95 / $195.81 month
M1 customers can get their Samsung Galaxy S III at its launch event at M1 Shop Paragon on the 29th of May, 9pm to 12 midnight. Otherwise, you can purchase them at any M1 shops and exclusive distributors from 30th May at 11am or order it online at m1shop.com.sg from 30th of May at 8.30am. The first 1000 customers to receive the free Galaxy S III Essential Accessory Gift Pack will include those who have purchased it online on m1shop.com.sg as well, whilst stock lasts.
All three telcos will also be offering the handsets at almost the same price, inclusive of costs for respective price plans. However, Singtel has the most combination of plans, followed by M1 and then StarHub. On the other hand, consumers pay nothing for the Galaxy S III if you sign up for Take 3, with a plan that's from $82.93 a month, which leaves you with SunMax, Extreme Surf SunMax Plus plans.
As with all telcos, the Samsung Galaxy S III will only be available in Marble White at launch. Its Pebble Blue counterpart will be available at a later date.
