Logitech Introduces New X300 Wireless Speakers

The Logitech X300 is available locally in black, blue and pink at launch.

It may be the X "300", but it seems "thirty" is the magic number for Logitech's new X300 mobile speakers, as that's the angle of incline Logitech's engineers have built into the speakers to improve your listening experience. The X300 points up at a 30o angle, thus ensuring that your music is directed up towards you, rather than your navel.

Two passive radiators add bass while the mids and highs are produced by two drivers that are also angled outwards at 30o, ensuring that the soundstage created is wider and the sound produced more expansive.

Three large buttons dot the rear, along with the power button, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro-USB port.

You can also stand the X300 vertically, but doing so covers one of the passive radiators.

Essentially a no-frills speaker, control is simple with just three buttons on the top of the speaker – two to control volume, and one to initiate Bluetooth pairing. Once paired, playback control is through your smart device, while A2DP support and a 3.5mm audio jack have been included for optimum audio quality.

Measuring just 152 x 71 x 69mm and weighing just 355g (or barely more than a can of soft drink), the X300s support USB charging via a micro-USB port, and will give you up to five hours of continuous play on a single charge.

The Logitech X300 comes with a one year limited hardware warranty, and is available now from all major retailers for SGD$99.
