LG's new 55-inch EC930T curved OLED TV now runs webOS

In addition to the 55-inch EA970T and EA880T (the former’s curved, the latter’s flat, by the way), LG’s OLED TV lineup now has a new curved member in the form of the 55-inch EC930T.

Like the EA970T, the EC930T is a 1080p curved OLED TV using LG’s 4-color pixel (WRGB) tech. And instead of a transparent ‘Crystal Stand’, the EC930T has a streamlined, sculptured stand. Needless to say, LG is boasting of true blacks, super-fast response (and therefore, blur-free pictures), and perfect viewing angle with this TV. And of course, the TV continues to utilize LG’s proprietary Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) passive 3D tech to generate 3D images without any distracting flicker or crosstalk.

There are also a couple of new tricks on the EC930T. For one, it has touch keys under the screen that allow you to control basic TV functions like channel scrolling, volume control, and power. Also, the WebOS smart TV interface that LG has incorporated on most of its 4K and 1080p LED LCD TVs this year is now available on the EC930T.

The 55-inch EC930T is available for S$4,999 at Audio House, Best Denki, Courts, Gain City, Harvey Norman, Mega Discount, and other LG appointed retailers.

Here's a quick summary of the 55EC930T's key specs, courtesy of LG Electronics:
