LG unveils the G4 Stylus and G4c, launching in key markets in the coming weeks
With the G4 flagship smartphone rolling out to key markets starting this week, LG decides to add new buzz to the series with two new smartphones - the G4 Stylus and G4c.
The G4 Stylus should not be mistaken as a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 killer; the 5.7-inch phablet runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor (LTE) / octa-core 1.4GHz processor (3G) with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage space. Its 5.7-inch IPS display is hardly impressive at HD resolution (1,280 x 720 pixels).
Other specs include a memory card slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera (LTE), an 8-megapixel camera (3G), a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a removable 3,000mAh battery, Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is also equipped with a Rubberdium stylus for easy note-taking and drawing. The G4 Stylus is available in metallic silver and floral white.
The G4c can be seen as a more compact variant of the G4. It sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS display, a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage space with microSD support, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and a removable 2,540mAh battery. LG states that the G4c is available in three colors: metallic gray, ceramic white and shiny gold.
Both smartphones are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers around the world in the coming weeks. Prices and availability will vary across regions and markets.
