LG Electronics announces new LG Music Flow products, including speakers, network bridge and app.

LG’s new Music Flow series focuses on the concept of a central digital music library pairing with speakers and your mobile phone to form a smart Hi-Fi audio eco-system for your home.

The Music Flow series consists of the LG Music Flow Speakers (models H3, H5, H7), Sound Bar (model HS6), Network Bridge (model R1) and the companion Music Flow Player application for smart phones, which allows you to easily manage your entire music library – even if the music is stored across multiple devices.

All Music Flow units in your home can be controlled from one smartphone, and the app even recommends songs and playlists while providing easy access to internet radio stations and acting as a music player when you’re on the go. One-touch music playback is available thanks to the inclusion of NFC tag support, and LG HomeChat allows you to send commands to your Music Flow devices in plain English via the popular Line messaging app.

Auto Music Play automatically transfers playback from your smartphone to your Music Flow speakers once you get home, and the Mood Station feature in the Music Flow Player app can provide song recommendations or automatically create an entire playlist to create your desired ambience. With easy connections to popular internet streaming services like Spotify, Deezer and TuneIn (services differ by market), millions of songs are literally at your fingertips.

Multi-room Mode plays the same song across all connected speakers during parties, or a different song in each room. With dual band Wi-Fi support and mesh network technology, adding additional Music Flow speakers is simple, and you can be assured that the robust connection stays stable.

The H3, H5, and H7 speakers feature advanced diaphragms made of nano-fiber pulp and foam paper that improves the quality of sound, and the HS6 Sound Bar uses LG’s Stereo Field Extension (SFX) algorithm to create a large sweet spot of sound and augment the stereo sound effect.

LG Music Flow models H7 (70W), H5 (40W) and the Network Bridge model R1 will be available in the UK starting this month and in other markets in Europe following IFA 2014 Berlin in early September. LG Music Flow with model H3 (30W) and Sound Bar model HS6 (320W) will be rolled out globally soon after.

Prices to be announced.
