Lenovo Considering BlackBerry Acquisition
Lenovo Considering Blackberry Acquisition

Lenovo's CEO, Yang Yuanqing was quoted in French financial newspaper, Les Echos, saying that Lenovo is considering the option to acquire BlackBerry. He said that a BlackBerry deal "could possibly make sense, but first I need to analyze the market and understand what exactly the importance of this company is."
In January, Lenovo's CFO, Wong Wai Ming also told Bloomberg News in January that the company was "looking at all opportunities," which includes BlackBerry.
BlackBerry's CEO Thorsten Heins denied any knowledge on the matter when asked about it during an interview with Bloomberg News in January. However, he didn't rule out the possibility of an acquisition by Lenovo. He also went on to say that BlackBerry is open to licensing the new BlackBerry 10 OS to interested mobile manufacturers.
