First mentioned during IFA 2012, the S Series measure less than an inch at the thickest point, and weigh about 1.8kg. With a 14-inch HD widescreen display, the laptops are fused with multimedia features like stereo speakers, Dolby Advanced Audio, and HDMI output. Powered by Intel Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge i3 and i5 processors, they include up to 500GB of storage capacity and the innovative Lenovo Quick Start "instant on" functionality, which allows users to get online within seconds.

Its intelligent energy management features not only increases time spent between charges, but also safeguards the long-term durability of the battery. The AccuType keyboard with individual rounded keys provides a platform for comfortable and accurate typing, while data protection is made easy with Lenovo's OneKey Rescue System, offering a convenient way to back up and restore data, recover corrupted system files and run a complete virus scan.

In red and silver grey, the Lenovo IdeaPad S400 is retailing from S$799 onwards, while the Lenovo IdeaPad S300 is available via StarHub with the purchase of a Maxonline Premium Plan.
