Leaked AMD Roadmap Shows Future Tablet Chips

Just like Intel, AMD has big plans for the tablet segment, but the company only revealed its Fusion based Z-Series chips at Computex last month. Now, a leaked roadmap has showed more details on what to expect from AMD for the next year when it comes to this highly popular segment.

Engadget - Supposedly the next gen of tablet APUs will ditch a number features that aren't essential to burgeoning form factor, including VGA output, PCIe support, and couple of USB pathways. It will also add an "active standby" mode for maintaining connectivity while reducing power draw and cut TDP by about a third.
