The latest Tough camera from Olympus is a 4K action camera that goes everywhere with you.

Go wild with Olympus’ latest Stylus TG-Tracker and relive your adventures in 4K with positional tracking. The newest member of the Olympus Tough family has an extreme wide-angle f/2.0, 13.9mm lens (35mm format equivalent) that captures a 204-degree field-of-view for point-of-view (POV) videos that really place you right smack in the action.

Waterproof to 30m, crushproof to 100kgf, freeze-proof to -10C, and shockproof to 2.1m, there really is nowhere this handy little camera can’t go. And now it adds another layer to reliving your experiences by adding positional and environmental data logs to your videos. Just use the OI.Track 2.0 app (available for iOS and Android) on your smartphone or tablet, and you’ll see all the captured information next to your photos and videos.

The LCD flips out and to the side for greater versatility.

The Stylus TG-Tracker will capture in 4K/30p and 1080/60p (H.264/MOV) while giving you 8MP stills, has an ISO range of 100-1600 and built-in 5-axis Image stabilization (digital). It has a range of shutter speeds from 1/24,000 – 1s, and uses a version of the TruePic VII image processor found in Olympus’ Pen and OM-D system for quality images and video.

The steady grip supplied makes it easier for you to stabilize the camera when shooting handheld.

This UW lens port is all you need to go down to 30m.

What’s nice though, is that the camera comes with a full set of accessories like Mount adapter, Steady Grip and UW lens port, so you’re good to go straight out of the box. The only other thing you might consider picking up, is an extra battery. The Stylus TG-Tracker does up to 90 minutes of recording 4K-quality video on a single charge, but the slim Li-ion battery is easily replaceable in the field so you can keep on going.

The Stylus TG-Tracker will be available from June 2016, but pricing has yet to be announced.

*Update*

The Stylus TG-Tracker is available now from all authorized Olympus retailers for S$588.
