Following up on Intel’s release of the Intel Xeon Processor D-1520 and D-1540, Kingston has announced new DDR4 ValueRAM 2133MHz ECC SO-DIMMs that are validated for use with the upcoming Intel Xeon D Processor family. A link to the validation page can be found here.

Kingston’s new DDR4 ECC SO-DIMMS will complement the use of Intel Xeon D-1500 SoCs in microservers, networking and storage systems. The new ValueRAMs offer the low power and high performance needed to support high-density systems as businesses and enterprises continue to seek more powerful, energy- and space-efficient solutions to fulfill their datacenter needs.

The new DDR4 SO-DIMMs will be released in the following SKUs:

  •  4GB DDR4-2133 ECC SODIMM 1Rx8 1.2V
  •  8GB DDR4-2133 ECC SODIMM 2Rx8 1.2V

Kingston ValueRAM is backed by a lifetime warranty and free technical support. The new DDR4 memory will join previous Kingston DDR3 ECC SO-DIMMs that began shipping in mid-2013 for x86 and ARM-based processors and SoC designs. For more information, visit Kingston's website.
