Kick Your Home Theater into Gear with THX tune-up
The latest version of THX tune-up for iOS has been released. Starting today, more than 200 international soccer teams will compete to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. THX is offering the mobile app for free globally from 21-28 March so you can utilize it to maximize your entertainment experience.
The interactive audio and video adjustment tool features custom video test patterns, photos, and tutorials to help users harmonize to the best possible picture settings on their display based on their room lighting. It allows you to check your external speakers to ensure they are connected properly for 2-channel stereo or 5.1 surround sound systems.
Simply locate the adjustment buttons on your TV and AVR remote controls, and let the THX app tutorials guide you through your "THX tune-up". The app also comes with tips and advice on your remote control, room lighting, and viewing distance, just to name a few.
