Introducing the Cougar GX-S Series of Eco-Friendly PSUs

The Cougar GX-S series is compliant with the 80 Plus Gold efficiency requirement with a high efficiency rate of up to 93%. Wrapped in a special rugged black coating with a gold painted logo, the PSUs incorporate the LLC resonant topology design, which lowers the switching losses, boosting efficiency during power switching.

With a power consumption of less than 0.9W in PC off-mode, the GX-S series is fully compatible with the latest PC technologies and supports the newest specifications of ATX12V and PCIe 2.0 next gen graphics cards with 6+2 pin PCIe connectors.

Also, Cougar's patented Vortex fan technology adapts its rotating speed to the PSU temperature, and operates silently even on its highest rotating level, while the integrated air inlet design further reduces noise churned by air turbulence. With Dynamic Dual-12V rails, there is automatic dynamic load distribution on the dual-12V lines providing power separately to the GPU and the CPU. When output lines are not in use, the PSU automatically re-routes needed power from the unused lines, improving the performance of the 12V lines.
