Huawei to unveil the Mate 8, the "flagship of all flagships" on 2 Sep in Berlin?
It's almost a year since Huawei unveiled the Ascend Mate 7 at IFA 2014 and its latest teaser hints that the Chinese company is ready to launch its successor in September.
According to the teaser, Huawei states that it will be bringing the "flagship of all flagships" device to Berlin on 2nd September. Based on inside sources, Mobile-Dad claims that the new device is the Mate 8. The Mate 8 was previously leaked in a product roadmap with the following specs: 6-inch Quad-HD display and a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization.
With Huawei rumored to be making one of the two Nexus phones this year, the design and specs of the Mate 8 could provide clues of what to expect in Q4. Popular tipster @evleaks posted alleged specs of the Huawei Nexus a week ago which include a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display, a metallic design, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and a fingerprint sensor.
