HTC has announced the HTC Butterfly S and the HTC Desire 600 dual sim. Both devices come packed with the new HTC Sense 5 UI, as well as proprietary HTC technologies BlinkFeed and BoomSound, with the Butterfly S additionally featuring HTC Zoe.
Armed with a 1.9GHz quad-core processor, the 5-inch smartphone employs the Android Jelly Bean platform, and boasts a staggering 3,200mAh of battery power. With the Full HD Super LCD 3 display, the HTC BlinkFeed transforms the home screen into a customizable, vibrant stream stream of live information, delivering current content from social updates, news, and articles at a glance. With local and global content drawn from more than 1,400 media sources, BlinkFeed pulls more than 10,000 articles from media companies including AOL, ESPN, MTV, The Financial Times, and Reuters. HTC BoomSound’s dual front-facing stereo speakers and two dedicated amplifiers lets you listen to music, play games, and watch videos with less distortion and more clarity, on top of integration with Beats Audio.
Additionally, the mobile device's UltraPixel Camera captures 300% more light than conventional smartphone camera sensors, ensuring quality shots even in low light conditions. With its advanced editing capabilities and functionality of HTC Zoe, users can create the perfect picture wherever they may be. Coupled with the UltraPixel Camera is a 2.1-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front-facing camera, which allows room for you and your friends to capture more natural self portraits without compromising on detail.
There's also Video Highlights, a part of HTC Butterfly S' living, breathing gallery. Automatically creating 30-second shows accompanied by a soundtrack of your choosing, Video Highlights requires no professional editing software but produces visually stunning, instantly sharable online videos.
The first mid-range handset to offer the HTC latest Sense 5 experience with BlinkFeed and BoomSound, the 4.5-inch dual sim smartphone comes equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and the Android Jelly Bean OS. Running on the "dual active" system, it allows you to have two SIM cards active at all times, enabling you to receive a call on one line, even if you are already using the other. Featuring a 4.5-inch Super LCD 2 display, the mobile device offers a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera, along with Video Highlights.
