HP's New Envy Recline AiO PC Places Emphasis on Touch

The Envy Recline Touchsmart AiOs are able to recline into a more natural position that is optimal for touch interaction.

HP recently unveiled the HP Envy Recline Touchsmart series of All-in-One (AiO) PCs that seeks to enhance a user's experience with Windows 8. The series comprises two models (23-inch and 27-inch) that come with full HD, 10-point multi-touch, IPS displays.

However, the main selling point of these AiOs has to be its adjustable design that allow users to tilt the machines' displays to and angle which is more natural for touch navigation.

Both the 23-inch and 27-inch variants also sport the latest fourth generation Intel Core i-series processors, NVIDIA discrete graphics (Nvidia GeForce GT 730A GPU) and 16GB RAM that will handle demanding tasks with ease.

For users who need a little bit more edge in their machine, HP also announced a HP Envy Recline 23 Touchsmart All-in-One PC "Beats Edition" that features black and red accents (Beats' most popular color combination), as well as Beats Audio driven dual speakers which promise a better music experience for users.

The HP Envy Recline series AiO PCs are now available in Singapore (at Comex!), with retail prices starting at $1699 for the 23-inch model, and $2499 for the 27-inch model. The 23-inch "Beats Edition" model will be in Singapore at a later date.

Along with the Recline series of AiOs, HP also revealed the Envy Phoenix 810 gaming PC that sports a top-tier Intel Core i7 Extreme processor, NVIDIA discrete graphics as well as Beats Audio technology.

For users who want to add touch on top of the Phoenix's extreme gaming prowess, there's also the affordable HP Pavilion 23tm Touch Monitor that has 5-point multi-touch, wide viewing angles and an adjustable stand that tilts to a 70-degree recline position.

The Phoenix 810 will be available in Singapore at the end of September 2013 for $2499, while the 23tm Touch Monitor will be in Singapore in October 2013, and its price will be revealed close to its launch date.
