If you’re waiting to play Batman: Arkham Knight when it’s released on June 23, it’s time to sit up and take notice. NVIDIA has listed the system requirements for Batman: Arkham Knight, the upcoming game in the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series.

According to NVIDIA, you’ll require at least an Intel Core i5-750 or AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor, 6GB of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 and 45GB of hard drive space. NVIDIA didn’t list an equivalent AMD card, but it’s safe to assume that the AMD Radeon HD7870 will perform similarly. After all, NVIDIA listed that card alongside the GeForce GTX 660 in its recommended system requirements for Grand Theft Auto V.

But if you’re hoping to crank up the settings in game, you’ll require quite a big jump in processing power. NVIDIA recommends an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 processor. The other hardware components see more modest bumps, and 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 760 are in order. There’s no AMD card listed here either, but an AMD Radeon 290 should work just fine. You’ll also require more storage space, 55GB up from the 45GB needed previously.

Finally, NVIDIA has also listed specifications for “Ultra” system requirements, which should be the hardware you need to run the game with all the eye candy maxed out. The only change from the recommended system requirements is the step up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, and presumably, the AMD Radeon R9 290X

If these specifications are anything to go by, we should be able to expect one good-looking game with the highest settings turned up when Arkham Knight finally comes out. Nevertheless, most systems built within the last three years should have the necessary heft to run the game at least at the minimum settings.

But regardless of your setup, you’ll need to be running a 64-bit version of Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 to play the game.
