If you've watched the movie Captain America: Civil War, you might have noticed Tony Stark (also known as Iron Man) using a phone at certain points. Can you identify the phone model?

Well, tech sites Geek and PC Mag claim that Iron Man uses the Vivo V3 smartphone. For a superhero who designs his own armored suit with advanced weaponry and futuristic technologies, it's appalling to see Iron Man use an entry-level smartphone in the movie! The V3 has a 5-inch 720p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 chipset, 3GB RAM  and a 2,550mAh battery.

In case you don't know about the phone brand, Vivo is a Chinese phone maker and the V3 is a relatively new as it was announced last month. Geek speculates that this is part of Marvel Studios' ongoing efforts to make more money in the Chinese market and there is no better way than a product placement.

This isn't the first time Iron Man is using a Chinese-branded phone. He is said to have used an Alcatel One Touch Idol in Iron Man 3. In the previous two movies, Iron Man used an LG VX9400 and a LG-branded touchscreen display.

We would have expected Iron Man to use something better.
