Google Injects More Voice Commands On Android 2.2

Apple users have enjoyed a sweet range of voice commands on their iPhones since the previous 3GS model, while Android wielders only had three to contend with. But all that's about to change. To close the gap with the Cupertino camp, Google has spiced up their Voice Search feature with more commands and functions with a grand total of 12 voice commands in all. The refreshed application does more than search for stuff though. You get to jot down notes, compose emails, send text messages, and even track down songs or bands on sites such as Last.fm and Pandora. However, Google is only limiting this update on the Android 2.2 platform, otherwise known by its eccentric "Froyo" moniker. Another new application to rise from Goggleplex is the Chrome-to-Phone app. The sync-tool enables users to send a map or webpage from their Chrome browsers, for example, to their Android 2.2 phones.
