Yesterday, ASUS announced its new PCE-AC88 Wi-Fi PCIe adapter. Today, its following up with its new USB-AC68, a pocket-sized USB Wi-Fi adapter.

The USB-AC68 Wi-Fi USB adapter is dual-band capable and supports speeds of up to 1300Mbps on 5GHz networks, and speeds of up to 600Mbps on 2.4GHz networks.

This means that it is most suitable for use with AC1900-class routers, such as ASUS' RT-AC68U, or AC3200-class routers like ASUS' RT-AC3200.

It features two internal antennas and two external antennas. The external antennas fold neatly into the body, but can also be extended for better reception.

There is also a bundled desktop cradle, which gives users the freedom to position the USB-AC68 more optimally away from their systems.

The ASUS USB-AC68 is available now and is priced at S$129.
