Gear4 Launches StreetParty 5 Lightning Speaker
Following the launch of the new range of Apple devices featuring the Lightning connector, Gear4 has unveiled the StreetParty 5, one of the few Lightning speakers to hit the market to date.

Built upon the StreetParty 3, the latest version of the StreetParty series features Apple's new Lightning dock, and thus is compatible with the iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th gen), and iPod nano (7th gen). It gives users the option to choose if they want the speaker to be powered by the main charger, or by batteries (4 x AA). It will also charge your docked device when powered via the main charger, and allows for folding so you can fit it into your pocket.
Backed by a 2-year extended warranty exclusively when purchased on gear4.com, the StreetParty 5 comes with a price tag of S$129.
