Fujifilm introduces a string of FinePix cameras for its Spring 2012 launch.
With rubberized coating and riveted metal handgrip, the 14.4-megapixel FinePix XP150/100 is capable of shooting up to depths of 10m, twice as deep compared to the existing FinePix XP30. It also has an increased shockproofing capabilities which enables it to survive a drop from up to 2m. On top of that, the XP150/100 will function in cold climates, as low as -10°C, and is also dust and sand-resistant.
Additionally, the XP150 incorporates an advanced GPS functionality, so users can track their movements and show the router on the LCD. Alternatively, users can get to a computer and create a pictorial map of the locations visited using the bundled My FinePix Studio software.
Available in five colors: black, silver, orange, green and blue.
Another all-weather compact camera Fujifilm is launching is the FinePix XP50. Equipped with a 14.4-megapixel CMOS sensor optimized for response times, it is waterproof to a depth of 5m, shockproof to a height of 1.5m, and can withstand temperatures of down to -10°C. Besides having an updated exterior, it offers a 5x wide-angle optical Fujinon lens and a 2.7-inch LCD with Anti Reflection Coating.
Available in black, blue, green, orange and silver.
