So you're down at the beach, soaking in the sun, enjoying the warm ocean breeze, and suddenly a cute young puppy walks by. Oops, you can't focus fast enough and you missed the picture.

Said puppy then sits down beside you, you reach for your phone and knock your Pinacolada all over your phone and it frizzles.

Puppy laughs and heads off, leaving you photo-less and phone-less for the rest of the day, ruining your holiday.

Panasonic probably heard your cries of anguish because they just released the exact phone that will fix your problem! It's the Panasonic Lumix 101P (Japan). This phone will fix all of your problems with its 13.2MP CMOS Lumix sensor, and water proof body!

From the pictures, it doesn't look like it's terribly thick, and its even got a relatively big 4-inch screen. As a phone it's pretty competent too, with a dual-core processor that seems to be the standard these days, as well as Android 2.3.

Details seem to be scant on whether this deliciously useful phone will reach Singapore. But you can be sure the moment it does, our HardwareZone mobile team will be all over it like ants on honey.
