TC Acoustic brings the revolutionary Erato Apollo 7 to town

First seen on Kickstarter, the Apollo 7 has been billed the “world’s most compact true wireless earphones” by their makers, and by that they mean that there are literally no wires connecting the earbuds.

All you get are two separate ear buds. No wires between them or dongles to manage. They use memory foam tips for sound isolation that literally molds itself to your ears, and even contain an omni-directional microphone so you can take and make calls as you would regular earphones. The earphones are also nano-coated to be waterproof so they’ll work even if they’ve been submerged in water, making them excellent workout companions.

Left or right, the single button on top of either ear bud will do the trick.

Both earbuds act as active antennas, giving you a strong and more stable connection. Also, either earphone can become the master unit, so just use the single multi-function button on each one to you power the ear buds on and off. You’ll also be able to take calls, start/stop playback, skip tracks, change volume and even access Siri and Google Now by tapping, holding, or double-tapping.

The earphones run on Bluetooth 4.1, with full support for AptX, AAC and SBC codecs, so they give you CD-quality audio wirelessly. They also come with an aluminum charging case that features a simple one-finger open glide design. It’s button-free, and will automatically recharge the earphones once they are docked within, automatically shutting off once charging is complete.

The case charges and protects the earphones when they're inside.

The case will charge the earphones twice before needing to be recharged themselves, giving you a total of 9 hours of music listening and 12 hours of talk time. And there’s an LED indicator to show battery status, making it useful for more than just protection.

The Apollo 7 earphones are available now for S$499 at TC Acoustic.
