Details of Next Gen AMD FX CPUs Leaked

Details of the next generation AMD Vishera-based FX processors have been leaked. According to information obtained by Expreview.com, the specifications of the three upcoming Vishera chips have been laid out and their details are in line with earlier rumors.

The three upcoming Vishera FX series processors are as follows:-

Model Cores Base Clock / Turbo Core Speeds TDP
FX-8350 8  4.0 / 4.2GHz  125W
FX-6300 6  3.5 / 4.1GHz  95W
FX-4320 4 4.0 / 4.2GHz 95W

These next generation CPUs incorporate the new AMD "Piledriver" architecture. The new architecture is purported to deliver a performance boost of 10 percent over the Bulldozer-based CPUs while simultaneously offering a 10 to 24 percent energy savings. There is also information pertaining to four Trinity APUs, including the A10-5700 and A8-5500, and a Brazos 2.0 APU, the E2-1800. The new Trinity and Vishera desktop processors are slated to be launched in October this year.
