Dell today showed off its new range of UltraSharp monitors, including the 30-inch UltraSharp OLED monitor that we saw at CES 2016, and a wireless display that accepts simultaneous inputs from your phone and laptop.

The Dell UltraSharp 24 Wireless Monitor has been designed as a productivity and multi-tasking workhorse. It has a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel IPS display and allows you to display and manage content from a Windows laptop and Android smartphone concurrently via Miracast, which means you can watch movies, send texts, or even use it as an extended display. However, we can see this being more useful for workers who have to change work stations frequently as opposed to consumers, who will probably be just as happy with a regular wired display.

There is also a 23-inch version with an integrated wireless charging hub in the stand that lets you use it as a wireless charging point for your smartphone, so there’s no need to interrupt your work just because your phone is out of juice.

Dell also updated its other UltraSharp monitors with a new edge-to-edge design. Compared to their predecessors, which already have very slim borders to begin with, these InfinityEdge monitors boast even thinner bezels for a sleeker look. This is most noticeable in the bottom edge, which has been slimmed down even further and features a smaller Dell logo. It’s a subtle difference, but we’re hardly going to turn our noses up at thinner bezels.

Unlike the Dell UltraSharp U2415 before it, the 24-inch UltraSharp U2417H features a 16:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The LED backlit IPS panel has an 8ms pixel response time, the same as the UltraSharp U2415, but it looks like out-of-the-box color accuracy has been improved. Dell says that each screen is individually calibrated, and the new display has a deltaE value of less than 2, compared to 3 for the older model.

The larger 27-inch UltraSharp U2717D sports similar improvements. In addition, two of the four USB 3.0 ports have been relocated to the left edge, making them far easier to access. It features a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, the same as the older UltraSharp U2715H.

We also got a look at the UltraSharp 30 Ultra HD 4K OLED monitor, which we first saw at CES earlier this year. Thanks to the self-illuminating OLEDs, which allow control over individual sections of the screen, the monitor features a much wider dynamic range than traditional IPS panels.

Here’s a look at the OLED panel beside the UltraSharp U2717D. Blacks are far deeper on the former display, and it is a lot easier to pick out fine details in the darker sections of the picture. As it turns out, this is the very sort of panel that AMD was talking about when it laid out its plans to enable HDR on displays this year.
