Cougar Unveils Latest RX Series PSU

Targeted at new gamers, Cougar's latest RX power supply series comes in a classic color mix of black and orange-red with a 14cm fan to expel heat with a lower rotating speed and lower noise. The fan also has the ability to adjust its RPM automatically according to its current temperature.

Certified 80 Plus with over 82% efficiency, it comes equipped with Active PFC and energy-saving features including the specially developed Dynamic Dual 12V design, which does dynamic load distribution on the dual 12V line to provide power separately to both the GPU and CPU. When all outputs are not in use, the Cougar RX will automatically reroute the needed power from unused lines. Additionally, the series supports Multi-GPU technology with PCIe 2.0 next gen graphic cards with 6pin or 8(6+2) pin PCI-E connectors.

The Cougar RX series includes 500W and 600W models, which are priced at US$69.99 and US$79.99 respectively.
