Microsoft sure is taking its time with the updates. For a while, we've heard about the copy and paste update, which gives Windows Phone 7 the functionality that should have been found within. Initially, Microsoft committed itself to an early 2011 update for the mobile OS. And now, the company has revealed an estimated time frame, with the update happening during the latter half of March.

But I believe it’s important that we learn all we can from the February update. So I’ve decided to take some extra time to ensure the update process meets our standards, your standards, and the standards of our partners. As a result, our plan is to start delivering the copy-and-paste update in the latter half of March.
This addresses the question of the copy and paste availability, but what of the other updates announced at Mobile World Congress? Twitter integration, multi-tasking and SkyDrive support for its Office hub should be following up soon, and we do hope it'll be much sooner than expected.
