Club 3D's new Y-cabled docking station lets you connect multiple displays and USB devices
A common complaint of notebook users is that there are just not enough USB ports to go around, or that there is no easy way to output to multiple displays. Club 3D wants to change that with its new CSV-3203 Y-cabled docking station.
Dubbed as the world's first "Y-cabled docking station", the CSV-3203 can be best thought of as a regular MST (MultiStream Transport) hub but with expanded functionality. It achieves this because it connects via DisplayPort and USB 3.0.
As such, it expands your notebook's connectivity by offering an additional two Mini-DisplayPort outputs, three USB 3.0 ports and Ethernet connectivity. This means you can easily output to multiple displays and connect additional USB devices such as external storage drives, keyboards and mice.
Club 3D has stated that the CSV-3203 will begin shipping later this month. No word yet on pricing.
